Single Beds Sales

By admin in beds

This Christmas season very few companies are advertising single bed sales events.  The majority of the sales offered on new goods aren’t offering that deep a discount.  Of the  sales being offered, many are on used beds.  There are a few companies offering sales on new single beds, but they are on specialty products.

One piece of good news permeates most Christmas season sales, and that is free delivery by Christmas.  Since there are only a few days remaining until Christmas, the wisest shoppers will be making a purchase decision shortly, and then ensuring delivery dates and times before completing their purchases.

One of the most difficult elements researching at least single bed sales currently is determining the pre-sales prices for these products.  This fact is especially true with Great Britain and European pricing.  A plus is, most companies have added their 15% VAT (value added taxes) into the sales prices.  U. S. companies though, post their non-sale and sale prices in their ads, so customers can appreciate knowing just what they are saving if they make a sales purchase.

One prominent French company advertised a Christmas season single bed sale.  That lifted the shopping spirits until we actually went to the company’s website for the sale. It turned out to be a sale on air mattress single beds.  The prices were pretty good, but when most people are shopping for single beds, they aren’t looking for airbeds.

Another caution I would like to throw out to the public is related to marketing.  We all know that shopping and researching online can save a customer a tremendous amount of time.  And, marketing on the Web has become an art form using the latest technologies to direct traffic with the current customer buying trends.  With that in mind, the customer has to weigh in a little common sense.  Not every vendor can be the first name you see when browsing on Google, Yahoo, Firefox, Bing, etc.  So, the discerning shopper has to decide which vendor offers the most information on the product he or she is looking for. It may take a shopping spree to a couple sites before locating the best bang for your buck.

This is a rule of thumb for shopping online that I use.  Since most companies on the Web are not facing leasing costs or many of the overhead costs of storefront competitors, they should be offering much better deals.  As a result, shipping should be free, they should not be charging taxes and their prices should be lower than the competition on the same model products.  It they aren’t shop at home.
